Personal Statement

I have been playing water polo ever since I was 10 and my passion for the sport has only grown more and more every year. I really believe that I can be what coaches are looking for because I am a very hard working student in both academics and in the pool.

I think I am also a great leader because in 2018 I lead my U16A Gauteng Water Polo team to win gold at our annual Inter Provincial Tournament. I have always been that player that when there is an issue , you can always come speak to me and we will work something out and will always give the players the advice that they need to better their game.

I have always been a hard worker and whenever I'm not at school, I'm either in the pool doing some extra training or I'm on the hockey field practising my skills. I love to learn new things all the time and especially during sports. I can catch on very quickly when a coach would like me to do a specific game plan or when I'm learning new skills to better my game.
