Kaitlyn Goins '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaitlyn Goins, I'm in the class of 2024 at East Grand Rapids High School, and am interested in playing collegiate water polo. I pride myself on my drive for success and dedication to continuous self-improvement, and I believe these attributes make me a valuable potential asset to your team. 

I believe the way I use these traits make me distinct in my approach and passion for team atmospheres. I see a team as a second family of sorts. My current teammates and coaches are individuals that have made a major positive impact in my life, and have clearly demonstrated the immense potential of a well bonded team. I strive to have this close-knit connection with future teammates and coaches in my college experience.

Athletics, for me, has always been a place of comfort. I use sports as an outlet to have fun, regardless of what is going on around me. Even on tough days, practice never fails to make me feel safe and at home. This is the reason I’m interested in continuing my playing career through college, as I believe it will allow me the necessary outlet and provide me with a constant enjoyment to look forward to.
