I've played waterpolo since freshman year. I've been blind in my left eye since birth, and it was always hard for me to find a place to fit in, but when I came across my school's polo team, I had teammates that became my family and nonstop worked with me and practiced with me until I was good enough to start. Being blind in one eye has always been something I've had to work around, but as I've grown older, I've found ways to overcome it. In all my sports, I adapted to playing left handed because it gives me a better sight advantage.
