Willa McKee '27 Recruiting Profile

While I have only played water polo for two years it has already rose to be my favorite sport. Going into my freshman year I was new to the sport, I had never even heard of it. While trying to grasp the concepts of it, by the end of the season I was a varsity starter in goal. Now, I start full time and I am number 15 O/A in blocks at my school and the season isn't over yet. I have always wanted to play a sport at the collegiate level, before I thought that was basketball but now I know it is water polo. Water polo has boosted my leadership skills and has overall greatly impacted both my physical and mental health. I am always a team player and root for everyone, I love my team greatly we are like one big family and I'm truly grateful I took this leap to join a new sport. While exceling in the pool, I also excel in the classroom, I have maintained a GPA of 3.89/4.0 and a 4.04/5 weighted GPA. While doing everything I can with my sport I always prioritize school as well. I always try and make friends with everyone, I have since I was little. I always try and be a leader for people even when I get frustrated.
