Emma Halle '21 Recruiting Profile

Competing at Pennsylvania States over the past three years have been some of the proudest moments throughout my varsity high school career. In my sophomore year and while playing at PA Western Conference, we were down 4-7 with our chance at states quickly fading, we all put our heads together, stopped playing scared and came back to win 8-7. This really showed me that we could achieve something that we really wanted and would be willing to work so hard for. 

Through my three years of high school, our team has been lucky to be able to place 7th, 6th and in 2019 - 5th at states - with a team of 10 players against teams twice our member size! I have learned to take my individual determination to succeed and desire to win, and execute it under the direction of my high school, ODP and Junior Olympic coaches - taking ownership in my mistakes, and developing as a leader both in and out of the pool. Each year I am happy to say our team works harder to place higher than the previous year. I believe I do not just have the ability to play hard, and at a top level, but the ability to work and study hard to achieve my scholastic goals as well.

While I spend a majority of the high school and club seasons playing center/hole - I am a very versatile utility player willing to assist in any role the coach asks. 2019 varsity high school stats include 2019 PA All-State Team, PA All Western Conference Team, 47 goals scored and 20+steals. I hope to have the honor to play competitively in college!
