Since I've started water polo, my dream has been to go as far as I can in the sport. At the beginning, I moved all over Canada because of my parents' jobs, which meant that I had to frequently change teams. Going from one club to another showed me different perspectives of the game and it allowed me to realize that a lot of doors could open up for me if I put in the effort.
A couple of years ago, I heard about collegiate water polo from one of my coaches. That's when I became interested in this path for my water polo career. Joining the NCAA would mean another step towards the highest level in water polo, as well as in academics. It would help me achieve my goal as an athlete.
