Personal Statement

I have played water polo for almost ten years now and I am a dedicated athlete and have grown a passion for the sport. First off, I began playing in a city called Estevan and played there for a while. Later on, I began to realize that I needed a higher level of training if I wanted to pursue my dreams. That meant that I needed to move to Regina Saskatchewan. That is something that makes me different from other athletes is that I will do whatever it takes for me to continue to improve with the sport. During the off season, I joined a summer speed swimming team to improve my speed and technique. I am a hard worker and try to find different ways to improve. Some examples as to why I would be good to have on your team are that I am easy to get along with and no matter how tough the day or practice is, I still can find ways to have fun and stay positive. My dream is to continue to have fun playing water polo at a high level while earning a degree to pursue a career in Pharmacology. I love the sport and every aspect of it!
