To be honest ... I did not start off loving wrestling. I wasn't sure it was for me, really I didn't know that I could do it. I started as a newbie Freshman wrestling 160's and wrapped up my Senior year at 116's and a state qualifer. Wrestling has taught me to push my self when I did not think I could. It gave me new insight on myself and what I was capable of. I am still pushing those limits to see where I can go! Unfortunately because of covid I didn't really have a Sophmore wrestling year. I worked out on my own and took whatever opportunities to practice I could. In my "3" years of mat time I made it from a newbie to a state qualifer. I am not done, I have more to learn and more to gain! It has given me the opportunity to support and motivate my team mates to achieve their goals and to make a "family". Everything I have gained from the last 4 years will help me achive anything I set my mind to in the future ... whatever or where ever that may be. It has also improved my baking skills ... my team mates love my sweet treats :) and my DJ skills ... I love to play music during practices!
