My goal as a college athlete is to strengthen parts of my life that help me become the best version of myself. As I learn along my journey I know that it is apart of my destiny to help those around me and accomplish big things. All my life I've watched my parents go through tough times and come out 2x stronger than what they use to no matter what the circumstance was. I watched them chase after their dreams and earn their reward. When I discovered wrestling I knew there was something more to me in this sport and just like my parents raised me I went after it.
When I first joined wrestling I didn't know anything about it but I had this drive in me to constantly learn the art of wrestling. With that will to learn I was able to accomplish far above than what I initially expected of myself. Through my accomplishments in this sport I became so much more stronger mentally, spiritually, and physically. This strength helped me academically and athletically. Though I come from a martial arts background from my dad, something about wrestling brings out my true self. A wrestler is who I am meant to be.
