Wrestling is a big passion of mine and it was a very unexpected surprise. I walked into our wrestling room, that used to be a science classroom but full of rich history, I had no idea how hard I would fall in love with this sport. Wrestling allows me to push the pace and I am out there by myself doing the job, but I still get to be part of a team. Being a woman, especially coming from Bennett, I am glad I fell in love with a sport like this that challenges me in no other way.
Being part of sports means everything to me because I continue to learn more and more about myself each day. I want to continue my sports career outside of high school because I want to be able to help others in the future gain their full ability of being a successful athlete and person. I want to be able to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine/Management to offer encouragement and guidance to potential athletes.
