I believe I would be a great addition to the team for many different reasons. One of them being is that I’m a good leader. I make sure my teammates are leaving with everything they need and I make sure people are supporting one another on the team to make it a healthy and happy environment. Another reason is that I’m a fast learner and I have been told by my other coaches that I am coachable. I just started wrestling Freshman year and so far it has been a great experience. One of the last things I want to touch on is that I’m a team player. Sadly this year my Sophomore season was cut short due to a knee injury, but when I was not doing pt, at appointments, or getting fitted for my brace I was there as much as I could be to cheer on my team from the side. On the academic side I believe I would be a great student to add to the team. I was always taught when I was younger that academic comes before sports and I live by this day. This year I was happy to receive a letter for my academic achievements and I plan to keep this going through out my high school career.
