I am going into my sophomore year at Aplington-Parkersburg High-school and I have been wrestling for 8 years now. I went 20-18 in the regular season and went 3-3 at the twin rivers national duels. I had 13 pins, 2 tech-falls, and 2 major decisions during the regular season. I dropped 15 pounds in 1 week for a meet and can easily drop more weight. I am willing to learn more about this sport.
I am a multi-sport athlete. The sports that I do include wrestling, archery, soccer, dance, and color guard. I have done dance for 6 years on and off. I believe that dance helps me be better at wrestling by keeping me more flexible than what I would be if I didn't do dance. I do soccer to keep me in shape till the summer when our lifting program gets a lot harder. I like to lift when I can because it helps with all of the sports I do.
