Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Abygail (Abby) Ellis and I'm a freshman at Murray State University. I wrestled in the 145 weight class in high school but have since dropped to about 126. My plans for college are to major in dietetics! I was a tri-sport athlete. I ran varsity cross country, as a team captain, and varisty track and field as a distance runner and team captain as well. Last year was my second year wrestling varsity and first year as a team captain. Wrestling has become the center of my life. It's become a way for me to not only express myself, but cope with life's curveballs.
I am looking to transfer from Murray State to a college that's better fit for me and also has a women's wrestling team.
