Adalia Del Real '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Adalia. I started wrestling my freshman year. I came into practice just to try it out because of a friend. After the practice I thought to myself what am I getting myself into, but I wasn’t going to stop showing up after one practice. I had to finish out the season, I can’t just start something and not finish. I lost countless of times but when I won my first match, that had to be the best feeling in the world. So I stuck with it throughout the years and fell absolutely in love with the sport. I push myself in the wrestling room and outside to get better each year. I didn’t think it was working but I kept pushing. This year (2024) I finished out the season 37-11 becoming a state qualifier. I’ll continue to push myself to achieve my goal of placing at state and becoming a better wrestler overall.
