My name is Kaylynn Pehle and I am a senior of Mexico High School class of 2023. I view myself as a hard worker and a fun person to be around. I lift people up and push them to be their best as well as pushing myself to do better. I began wrestling my sophomore year. Ending my first season at 19-24, placing third at districts and falling two matches short for qualifying for the state tournament at sectionals,I pushed myself and trained all summer. The following season, I ended with a 31-9 record falling 1 match short of qualifying for state. This upcoming season, I hope pursue my goal and qualify for the Mo state tournament. I am always striving to make myself better, and put in the extra work. Updated: my season came short with injury and I had a record of 10-1 before getting injured. I was on the track to state being ranked number 3 at the 110 weight class. I ended the season at 13-3 and did not get my opportunity to wrestle at the state tournament.
