Wrestling Season ...Personal Statement
For years, I tried to find a sport that was the right fit for me. I’ve played almost every sport but the one I found my passion for, is wrestling. I began wrestling my junior year when High School Girls wrestling became a sanctioned sport in Nebraska. Every time I would hear that whistle go off to begin a match, the adrenaline races through my body. My favorite part about wrestling, is that there are infinite possibilities of what could happen. Even though it is referred to as a team sport, the only person who is responsible for the results is yourself because the only other person on that mat is your opponent. It is up to you, whether or not your willing to put in the work to succeed.
