For me, wrestling and martial competition is a family affair. I have been sitting on the side of a mat in some form since I was 6 weeks old when my dad, brother, and sister were practicing karate. At 2 years old my dad taught me how to put him in armbars, ankle locks and rear naked chokes. I started my wrestling career at 5, and I have loved it ever since. My goal for the next 4 years is to help build an all girls team for my high school. I help my dad coach the girls that train at his club, and I love to see them so happy to be on the mat. Wrestling means the world to me, and I cant imagine not doing it. I hope to go to college for a sport science related study, and one day maybe, be a college level wrestling coach.
