My name is Audrey Swiderek and I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico. The thing that separates me from most is the drive I have. I have only been wrestling for two years and feel as though I have barely touched the surface of my full potential. I overcame the circumstances I was put in and put out. I was the first female wrestler to wrestle a full season (for my high school), first metro (city champion), and first female state placer placing 4th. I never thought wrestling was the sport I would gravitate towards after dancing from age 4-16. However I know that there is a world of technique, coaching and experiences that are on the other side of high school and I have a hunger to know what that would entail.
