I started wrestling in 2nd grade and competed against boys only. As women's wrestling became more popular each year, I wrestled more girls in competition. I really enjoy competing and practicing with the guys because I feel like it has made me more aggressive and successful in women's matches. I love to push myself to the limit at practice to be the best I can be. I am a leader in the room and love to encourage my teammates to be the best that they can be. I have very big goals in future with both wrestling and my academics. Wrestling helps me be the best student I can be because it taught me how to work for something that is difficult. I feel that wrestling has also helped me become a more disciplined person and student. I would like to pursue and earn a bachelor's degree in the Health field specifically Sports Medicine or Chiropractic Medicine.
