I would like to continue my wrestling career. My goals in college would be to improve as an athlete and achieve as much as I can out of the program.
I am a good candidate for the team because I love the sport, I am a good leader, and love connecting with a team.
I started wrestling in our city’s youth program when I was 8. I continued until my eighth grade year. Last year my school district offered Womens wrestling and I loved being back on the mat. I qualified as a state alternate last year and this year I was a state qualifier. I had the opportunity to wrestle at OHSAA State competition March 8th and 9th. Although I didn’t place I don’t feel defeated. I am eager to wrestle in college.
I am different from other athletes because I have a growing passion for wrestling and women’s wrestling is continuing to grow and I want to be apart of that. I am outgoing and friendly and those characteristic could add greatly to a team environment. I have always been solid in my academic and in college I will love to learn specific knowledge in my major and future career.
