I want to go to a collage that has Aerospace Engineering, as well as a ROTC program. After collage I plan on going into the military. I put my education first and foremost, as my coaches are always saying, I am a Student Athlete. At the same time wrestling has had a huge impact on my life, it teaches independence, discipline, hard work and teamwork. It is also something that I truly enjoy, and do not want to give up. If I can, I will wrestle in collage. I believe that, for me, wrestling and education go hand in hand. I want to in collage be able to continue strengthening my mind, and body.
I work hard everyday on the mat and in the classroom. That is not to say I don't plunder, that I don't fail. Just like everyone else I do. But for me those failures, those missed shots. Missed math problems. The books you don't understand. The History you mixed up. They are just as important as the shots you made. The problems you aced. The books that clicked. The history, you know so well, you could tell stories about.
Learning from your failures betters you on your next attempt. If you fail on your next attempt, you try again. And again. And again. I know going to collage is a new level that I have not yet experienced in education and wrestling. I am not one to back down, so bring it on.
