I started wrestling in 7th grade because I wanted to explore and see what it was about. I started taking it more seriously in high school because I realized that this was the sport for me and what I wanted to do. My goals for next year is to be the first female wrestler at my high school to be a champion at the SC female states. My academic goal for next year is to maintain being on the A/B honor roll and making my GPA higher. My best high school accomplishments are first female on my high school's wrestling, encouraged the coaches to start the first female wrestling team at the high school, first female 2x state placer at SC girls states. In addition I have recieved my first varsity letter and female wrestler of the year for the 2019-2020 season. I feel I would be an asset because I am committed, a hard worker, and able to learn well and quickly.
