I competed in both karate and Brazilian jiu jitsu before finding wrestling. Though I have only participated in wrestling for one year, I have fallen in love with the competition and camraderie that comes with the team atmosphere. I don't feel that my wrestling journey will be complete without pursuing further training at the next level. My previous combat sport experience has helped bridge the gap in my experience and allowed me to compete with and even defeat much more experienced opponents. I believe that my unique skillet and experiences will be valuable to my team.
I intend to pursue a career in elementary Education and teach in Alaska. I would also like to use the wrestling skills to coach girls wrestling.
