My name is Lillian Reid and I have been wrestling since my freshman year of high school. My dad, Christopher Reid, was my motivation to start wrestling. I work hard every day to get better at wrestling and study my wrestling videos to see how I could do better. I am the type of person to never give up and to persevere through any situation.
During high school, I have maintained all A's and have kept a GPA of 4.9/5.0, been a team captain for my high school wrestling team, and was Vice President of Service for my high school's National Honor Society my junior year of high school. I am able to balance wrestling, my academics, and volunteering. I make sure I am getting better at wrestling, maintaining high grades in all of my classes, and volunteering as often as possible.
I want to attend a college that can push me on the mat and in the classroom. When I'm on the mat, I feel at home and feel ready for anything. No injury or mental block will stop me from doing what I love.
