Discipline, responsibility, and leadership have been crucial to my success in athletics. As a team captain of a wrestling team, I have been a leader for my team. I lead and encourage them through any moves, practices, tournaments, and the hardships we endure in conditioning. Discipline has always been salient in my life, whether it is with school, sports, or friends and family. I’ve never given up, and I have endured many difficulties. I have also always tried my best to provide selfless service to others. I am currently a 4x time State qualifier, and 4x time State placer, finishing in 4th in State for my 9th-grade year and then becoming a 3x State Champion in 10th-12th grade. I was awarded the best match in State in 11th grade and received athlete of the week in 12th grade. A was also chosen to be on the North All-Star team for Alabama and beat my opponent (Hudson Waldrop) 3-1. I wrestle off-season as well and I have wrestled in Fargo Nationals, Pre-season Iowa Nationals, VA Beach Nationals, and Super 32. In school, I have received 2 art awards and an engineering award. I have taken AP US History and I am taking AP Gov and Politics. I strive to become a software engineer or join aviation in the Navy or Airforce.
