Owen Gudmundson '21 Recruiting Profile

I started wrestling in grade 7, and although my skills were lacking at first, I quickly fell in love with the sport. For the last two years, I have wrestled year-round, oftentimes with the university program in Calgary, and this has only solidified my work ethic on and off the mats. I aspire to attend a university that will facilitate my dream succeed on the collegiate and international levels, while still providing a good education so I have opportunities outside the sport as well. I meet challenges in any aspect of my life with excitement because I love seeing how far and how hard I can push myself, and I bring a positive attitude and a relentless work ethic to any team I am on.
