Wrestling is a sport that requires complete personal responsibility and dedication. I learned early on that my success depends on how much work I am willing to put in. In the past seven years of wrestling I have learned to take personal accountability after each loss and be constantly improving. I'm always looking for ways to challenge and develop myself and wrestling has provided me with that opportunity. I am coachable and constantly looking for feedback. I enjoy being a part of a team and the camaraderie and community that goes along with it. I have wrestled on the varsity team all four years of high school. I was a state qualifier freshman year, and placed 6th and 5th at state sophomore and junior years respectively. I look forward to the start of my senior season this year. I'm always willing to working hard and give 100 percent at practice, competition, and academically. I've maintained a 4.0+ gpa throughout all of high school. I participate in honors and AP classes, and have received academic and athletic awards. I'm excited about the prospect of continuing on and competing at the college level.
