I am 5’11” and wrestled 195 and 182 pounds for my 7A high school wrestling team last season. I finished the 2017-18 season with a 49-12 record and won the state championship at 182 along with getting voted the most outstanding wrestler from 170-Heavyweight.
In addition, I won the state title at the Arkansas State Freestyle and Greco tournament and represented Arkansas in Fargo, North Dakota in 2017 and 2018. In 2017 I went 0-2 in freestyle, this year I went 4-2, just 2 matches away from being an All-American. I haven’t been wrestling very long but I am passionate about this sport and always give it everything I have. I am very coachable and extremely eager to learn and get better at this sport. #embracethegrind
My ideal school will have outstanding academics and sociology department as I am looking for a career in counseling, teaching or possibly coaching. I would like to belong to a wrestling program where I can continue to learn and experience great coaches and teammates. What matters most to me is not the size or fame of the institution, but the opportunity to be a part of a strong wrestling family while I pursue my higher education goals.
