Hello to any coaches who are reading this, my name is Nathan Pimentel and as I am writing this I am a junior at Buena Park High School. I have done wrestling since I was a freshman and I've been on the varsity team since then, I plan to wrestle for all four years of high school, my freshman year of high school with wrestling wasn't that great of a start but it gave me the determination and hope to keep on going and to practice harder so one day I could make it to CIF. But, during my sophomore year, it was somewhat better but more unfair towards me because of my coach's favoritism. before our league finals tournament, my coach had decided to bump me up in weight to a weight class that I was not near at all which caused me to lose drastically. But, this year which is my junior year, our team had a new coach. He was unfamiliar with how this sport works and all but he made it work and to my surprise, I made it to CIF. It didn't go great being at CIF with being only one of the two guys that made it but seeing all those people who trained hard to be that good inspired me to train harder and to have new goals for my senior year. Thank you to whoever has had the chance to read through this and I hope you have a good day.
