Nicolas Brockson '24 Recruiting Profile

As I enter my Senior year of high school, I continue to set short term and long-term goals. Being able to balance academics and athletics, has always been important to me. Academically, I have challenged myself by taking AP/IB classes where this year I have continued that with taking AP Calculus.  In total, I have received high honor roll accolades for nearly every semester in high school. My goal is to maintain high honor roll (3.5+) in my Senior year as well. 

Athletically, I have also achieved my goal of making it to the CIF State Wrestling Championship during my Junior year. I finished my season undefeated in my league, was named to 1^st team and received the NWCA/ Marine Corps All American, Character and Leadership Award. This will be my 4^th year wrestling Varsity and 2^nd year as a Captain. I also volunteer at the local kid's club wrestling program. My long-term goal is to wrestle at the college level and I plan to achieve this goal by surpassing my accomplishments from last year. I enjoy wrestling year-round and I participate at the club level for folk and free style. College will continue to be a time full of personal growth. As of right now, I am leaning towards majoring in Engineering.
