Training

  • HIIT and Explosive training for freerunning and climbing
  • 3 years
  • When I was 12 i got really into fitness and free running. I found that the best way to get in shape was to grow my large muscle groups, such as legs and back, along with at least 20 minutes of HIIT a day. I continued to build on these throughout middle school with the goal of becoming faster and stronger so i could have fun climbing all the tallest trees in my neighborhood, and out speed my friends.
  • Biking, Powerlifting, and Running
  • 2 years
  • When high school came around I discovered wrestling and started training more specifically for it. This meant working on strength as well as power and sustained cardio. My summers consist of biking to and from multiple wrestling practices, the gym, and back. All in all its about 7 hours of biking, lifting, and wrestling combined, and I love every second of it. During our CIF mandatory dead period I like to push my distance running. Last year I decided to run a half marathon at the end. I succeeded in about 2hr 35min.
