Personal Statement

I am a hardworking and outgoing wrestler with aspirations to wrestle at the college level. I am resourceful both on the wrestling mat and in the classroom. I am receptive to coaching and willing to put in the work when needed. Something I like to live by is "Don't fear losing. If you are afraid to lose, then you will never be good at anything." I go into everything in life with this in mind, whether it be school or wrestling. You can not live in fear. Instead, I see everything as a challenge. I work every day to conquer these challenges and become a better version of myself. With all this in mind, I think I'd be a great candidate for the team.
