My name is Alex Mckenzie. I am a Junior at Archie Williams Highschool in San Anselmo CA. I've been wrestling since 6th grade, and I've wanted to peruse it into college since the beginning of 9th grade, as I enjoy the process and practice of Wrestling. My Sophomore season (my first full season), being CO-captain I posted a 20-6 record with 19 pins, and our small team won the CIF team Academic Award. I also helped create a wrestling program at my local middle school to help introduce our younger members in our community to this sport. There I was a coach, setting up all the dual meets, and was the main person in contact with the parents.
I want to continue this sport into college as I find intrinsic value in Wrestling; I enjoy showing up to an empty room and working on my own stuff.
I also want to pursue an Atmospheric Science degree. Since a child, I've been interested in weather events and phenomena's. I've enjoyed looking at, graphs and models of weather, and it is generally something that captivates me.
