Academics have always presented a challenge for me, but I've learned to overcome obstacles with hard work and perseverance. On the other hand, athletics has always been my strong suit. I discovered my passion for wrestling in 6th grade and have excelled in the sport ever since. Winning the Eastern Connecticut Conference Championship as a freshman has been the highlight of my high school career, and it has taught me the value of determination and focused effort.
I'm grateful for my family's unwavering support both on and off the mat. Their grandparents immigrated to the United States for a better life, and their encouragement has been invaluable. I'm also part of a close-knit wrestling program that we proudly call "La Familia." Our team embodies teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, community, and leadership.
As I look toward my future, I seek a college program that will perfectly fit my athletic and academic pursuits. I believe I have the talent and dedication to contribute to a college wrestling team and make a meaningful impact.

- An overnight visit for junior and senior high school students and their parents. Genesis is designed for students of color and first-generation college bound prospective applicants starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 12:00 PM the next day. In this experience your student will be paired up with a cadet for a behind the scenes look of all aspects of the campus to include academic, military, and athletic life. This program also includes parent informational sessions to help each family learn more about our campus and opportunities that are available to their student.

- The Army Wrestling Team Technique & Competition Camp is designed to foster a love of the sport in all wrestlers and help them make improvements in the technical and competitive aspects of wrestling. Full teams are welcome, however, you may also attend individually and we will place you in a unit when you arrive. Each camper will learn world class techniques (simplified and advanced) and better understand how to effectively win wrestling matches. Through a combination of intense drill sessions, technique and tactical breakout sessions as well as live wrestling, each camper will learn more about themselves than at any other wrestling camp in the country. You will build the fundamental skills necessary to achieve high-level success!
