Personal Statement

  1. I've dreamed my whole life on wanting to do something big in sports, whether it was in soccer, bowling, baseball, or wrestling. I picked up wrestling in 9th grade and learned to love the sport. I started watching college wrestling and thinking that could really be me one day, but in this sport it doesn't come easy whatsoever.
  2. No matter what sport I am playing I set goals for myself, I work hard everyday, every practice to meet those goals, and one day those dreams will become reality with my hard work and dedication to wrestling.
  3. I have this mindset with academics also, a great wrestler doesn't get benefits or seen by many teams or coaches if their grades aren't good, that's why I work hard in class to have a high GPA, and I am currently working with a tutor and working hard to bring up my SAT/ACT scores and earn the benefits in order to be spotted by coaches.
  4. I believe I will be a great candidate to a college wrestling team because I am not only working for myself but to push other and help them reach their goals, I want the best out of my teammates, because I treat them as they are family.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
