Beau Doerr '13 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Beau Doerr, i am currently wrestilng for the Gulf Breeze High School wrestling team at the 138 pound weight class on varsity. I am 5'10" and am very athletic. I have been wrestling since I was 5 years old. My Freshman year I placed 6th in the AA State tournament in Montana. I also broke the record for my high school for the number of reversals with 37 in one season. My sophomore year my family moved to Florida. I started for the 135 pound class and qualified for the state tournament. I had a record of 28 and 6. However, after practice all off season, attending three camps out of state, and many tournaments, including Super 32 in Greensboro, NC. I have been improving ever since. My Junior year I wrestled 138# and was 44-0 and district and regional champion prior to the state meet. I went 2 and 2 at state wrestling with illness. I am currently wrestling 138# as a senior with a record of 51-3 and team captain. I just recorded my 150th career win. Our schedule this year has included many multistate tournaments in order to increase exposure to top wrestlers and improve my chances at a state title.
