Julian Farber '20 Recruiting Profile

Like most kids my age, I want to wrestle in D1 and compete for a national title one day. 

The difference between me and most kids is that I am not afraid to put in the work to make that happen.  In the past few years I have stepped up my game and become a serious student of the sport.  I am still hungry to learn.  I look forward to the physical and mental demands and work to be at the top, but what I need to focus on is learning more about the strategies when preparing myself for battle.  When I walk on the mat it feels like I am in a coliseum in the ancient roman days about to fight to the death.  I don't need anyone to try to motivate me.  I take pride in being the hardest worker in the wrestling room and in the classroom.  I am self motivated and refuse to fail at anything I do.  I love and live for this sport.  I've always been a winner because I can't stand losing.  Like my Great Grandma always said, Second place is the first loser!  I am a respectful and attentive student and want to join a program that will help to complete me as an all around wrestler.
