Xavier Welch '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Xavier Welch. I am currently a senior at Morrow High School. This will only be my second year wrestling, but I aspire to wrestle at a collegiate level. Other candidates might have more experience than myself, however my passion in the sport is what makes me different. I will never settle for being the best in my school, I feel as though there is always room for improvement. I am constantly, practicing and working toward perfecting my craft. When I am on the mat, I do not want anyone to think that their experience is an advantage. In the midst of wrestling in college, I would like to major in kinesiology and work toward my goal of becoming an Athletic trainer. I am very open minded, in all aspects. With that being said, I will never feel like I am too good to receive pointers from anyone. I know that I will never know everything there is to know about wrestling, so I will always be open to receiving advice from those who are willing to share.
