Wrestling is more than an extracurricular activity it is a lifestyle that has allowed me to stay focused on personal and academic growth. As a child athlete I grew up participating in many sports and was greatly influenced by the encouragement and support of my family but it was wrestling that drove a passion and dedication in me that gave me purpose. Wrestling has given me direction and determination to achieve my goals and dreams. Academics and sports are not natural talents. I have had to work harder, work longer and give more of myself to gain the achievements I have today. I plan to continue working and striving toward a future that allows me to achieve my college degree and grow as a wrestler. It is my dream and I want to do everything I can to make it my reality.
