Hunter King '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hunter King and I am motivated to be the best possible athlete I can be. I am a highly competitive wrestler out of PORTA High School in Petersburg, Illinois. I have been a wrestler since I was 5 years old and stepped on a wrestling mat for the first time. I am a leader and always have been. On and off the mat I have been responsible and recognized as my teams' "hardest worker", "most responsible" x2, "most improved", and most importantly "best teammate" x2. Being not only the best version of a wrestler but a better version of myself is one of my biggest focus points during the season. I want to be someone that somebody can look up to or go to in times of struggle. I play 2 other sports outside of the wrestling season, baseball and football, to keep myself in shape and improve my abilities as an athlete. My biggest goal in high school is to leave with a scholarship representing that I put in the work worthy of a colleges interest.
