I love the sport of wrestling; as it helps transform me into a better version of myself.  The relentless dedication to improvement and the physicality of the sport helps me face adversity in life while developing my sense of compassion for those who find the will to strive toward their goals.   Competing in the sport of wrestling provides a stair-stepped approach to achieving a higher level of athletic skill, while simultaneously developing a foundation of work ethic. 

In my wrestling career, I have advanced from JV to Varsity amidst stiff inter-team competition and challenges.  I have stayed focused on my intermediate goal of making state champion in my weight class, and my collegiate goal of DIV I or II participation.
