Justin Boone '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Justin Boone I am currently a junior in Yorktown High School in Yorktown Indiana.  I have been wrestling for 12 years and I am looking forward to starting my 13th season this year.  I love the sport of wrestling and I want to continue my career after high school.  As a junior, I have been selected as one of the team captains.  I have been selected as a team captain both sophomore and junior years. I look forward to helping lead my team to a successful season.  I spend the off season months traveling to national tournaments competing in all three disciplines Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco.  I also participated in football from 5th grade to sophomore year.

Alongside my athletics, I pride myself in academics.  I currently have a 3.750 GPA, with a goal of graduating with a 3.8 or higher.  My coaches have always told me that it is labeled student athlete for a reason, because you are a student first.  Along with academics, another priority is being a team player.  I consider the other athletes on my team family and I am willing to make sacrifices to do what is best for myself and the team.
