Personal Statement
I started wrestling in 11th grade and through an amazing program was able to win one international and one national level tournament. I wrestle in Japan against many Japanese and international wrestlers which gives me a unique perspective on the sport. I am currently wrestling my second season and won the first major tournaments in my league. I played American football which gave me an explosive base for wrestling and have worked out for 4 years which gives me a strength advantage. I wish to pursue wrestling in college in a competitive program and league as well as challenge myself with rigorous academics. By the end of my career I hope to have left a positive mark on where ever I ended up wrestling.
