My interests lie in sports, business and community service. I plan on studying Business Administration, with a minor in criminology/criminal law, if possible. I do plan to attain my Masters in Business Administration, as the majority of people in my immediate family have their Master’s Degree. So, it is important to follow in those footsteps. I have worked in my mother’s office every summer since I turned 14, so I feel as though my work ethic has been established and I know what to expect in a business environment.
I started wrestling in elementary school. My father wrestled when he was in middle and high school, so I naturally was drawn to the sport. I also played football and lacrosse until my Junior year in high school, which is when I decided to focus solely on wrestling because that is where my passion lies. I currently wrestle for Archbishop Spalding High School, where as a senior this year, I am confident I will be the Captain of the wrestling team.
Along with all of the hard work and extra training I did this summer and in the off season, I stand out as a role model for others on our team. I actively participate in our community junior league wrestling as a mentor, in hopes to show young children how great wrestling is as a sport. The younger kids really do look up to us high school kids. I also volunteer with my church, as I feel I can only be my best if I explore as many aspects of life as possible. It has helped me to realize just how very fortunate I am with all of the opportunities I have been given thus far.
