What I get out of life is not centered on luck but on my preparation. I do not want to look back and think I was lucky. I want to look back at my accomplishments and see what I earned through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Wrestling is not just a sport for me but a way of life. The lessons I have learned on the mat have impacted my outlook and given me the strength and wisdom to face obstacles and look ahead. I enjoy a challenge both in competition and academics. Currently, I plan to pursue education towards a career in Computer Engineering. I know wrestling is not all about the individual but becoming a part of the family within a team. I have wrestled competitively for 6 years, as part of a school. What I enjoy and appreciate most about wrestling as a team is having a vested interest in the outcome of each match and knowing I own my part. I take my teammates respect and trust them with great pride. What I will bring to your team is inspiration, leadership, and adaptability along with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. I have a strong aversion to losing and letting others down so I will work extra hard to achieve my best and uphold my part on your team.
