Hello my name is justin Gerkhardt, I have a few goals I have set for my self since I was young. When your in the room for wrestling or on the field for football being a team and getting along with each other is a huge need. If your team doesn't work together then you will adventually start making mistakes and the team starts to break. My coach always says in practice you guys are a big family and a family should always get along and if there is a conflict, you need to work it out. In wrestling it is both a team sport and a individual sport. When you go out on that mat you want to get as many points for the team as possible and the more points you get it will help out your overall record. Everyday in practice I want to work harder than anyone else and be the best. What makes me different from everyone else is that I am committed to everything I do. You will barely see me quit or give up because if you quit or give up that means you arnt good enough for that and shows weakness, which is a horrible trait to have when your an athlete. When you put me out to do something I give it my 100% and if I lose I learn from it and the next time I go back out there I'll be that much better. I would like to major in criminal justice but I am not 100% sure if I want to do that. I want to improve my grades and be the best athlete I can. Thankyou for considering me for your college.
