I started wrestling in 7th grade and I loved it ever since. My freshman year I started varsity and I had a record of 14-12. Then in my sophomore year I transferred schools and I had to sit out half of the season. Even though I came later in the season I had a record of 12-1 and was seeded first in my district. Unfortunately I took second overall in my district. Then in regions I won my first round the lost the next two knocking me out of the state tournament. I finished my sophomore year with a record of 15-4. This year, my Junior year was a crazy year with COVID to say the least. Mid way through this already shorten season I had to quarantine because someone I wrestled had COVID. So when I came back the state tournament was about to start. I was projected to be the 9 seed in super region south but somehow didn’t even get seeded in the super region tournament. But I finished my junior year out with a 10-0 record. Next year is my last year of high school wrestling and I have something to prove. I have been doing a whole lot of off-season work outs and just building up on my skill.
I am the captain of my wrestling team. I also play football and I run track as well. I am also the captain of my football team. I am a overall good student. I take my academics as seriously as I do athletics. I also help out at my youth group by helping the homeless. I am always willing to help anyone I can.
My goal is to wrestle in college and continue to excel in athletics and academics. Please contact me if you'd like to talk more about what I can contribute to your team.
