Hi I’m Wyatt Olma! I’ve been wrestling for as long as I can remember now, I’ve put in a great deal of work but I still don’t think I’ve done enough with this sport. I’m hoping to continue wrestling in college to accomplish everything I can in this sport. I have my senior season left to prove to myself that the work I put in made me a better wrestler. I’ve been going to clubs since I was very young but I’ve been at shore thing wrestling now for around 8 years. I hope to win the state tournament next year as it’s my last shot I have at it, I didn’t have a full freshman season due to Covid and my sophomore season was cut short due to numerous injuries so this was really my first full year of highschool wrestling. My record this year was 30-10 and I lost some close matches with great wrestlers. I want to prove to myself that I am a great wrestler and that the work I’ve put in can be recognized by others as well. I believe that to build a good strong team at any level you have to build the team as a whole up, no younger guys getting less attention than the older more experienced wrestlers. I enjoy running the Rec program practices for my town and giving back to the program that built me into who I am today! I hope to be a great wrestler wherever I end up and I know I’ll make a great addition to any team given the opportunity!
