Hello my name is Joshua Mora, I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico I am 5ft 3in and weigh around 135lbs. I am a senior at Volcano Vista where I concentrate fully on academics and wrestling. My freshman year in high school I was a district champion and I placed fifth that year at the 119lb weight class. My sophomore year I was also a district champion but did not place that year at state in the 125lb weight class. My junior year was my most sucessful year in my career, where I was District runner up and State Runner Up. I lost in the finals to Matt Nunez a three time State Chamipon from Rio Rancho High School. I also was a 130lb Champion at the Terminator Tournament in Arizona. My freshman and sophomore year I attended school at St. Pius X and my later part of sophomore year I transferred to Volcano Vista. At the start of my junior year I lost to some competitive wrestlers but I later overcame those losses by taking second place at district which was a much harder district than the previous years and taking second place at state in the 135lb weight class. I have huge aspirations to wrestle at the collegiate level and want to keep my options widely open. I feel my work ethic is a driving force in my wrestling accomplishments. I am very easy to coach as I am always looking to make myself better. "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing RIGHT!"
