Personal Statement

My name is Patrick Grimsey, I am a  high school athlete with three other siblings in an active duty military family.  I love to compete in the sport of wrestling.  As a young adult with a deep passion for this sport, I have chosen a path that is difficult and requires extreme resiliency.  I fully understand the challenges that I will face and I am committed towards  hard work, attention to detail, and sacrifice.   I am laser focused towards excellence in education and success on and off the mat.  My short term  goals are to become a state champion and graduate with honors. My long term goals are to become an All American at the collegiate level.  I am a student of the sport and easily coachable.
